1. ITAR-TASS rights on news feeds, newsletters, bulletins and other information products and materials, as well as on photos, videos and graphics are protected by law.

2. ITAR-TASS is the legal owner of all material published on www.itar-tass.com.

ITAR-TASS is entitled to exclusive rights to all works created by its employees or other persons on orders of the Agency.

3. Reproduction of ITAR-TASS materials, published on www.itar-tass.com, could be carried out exclusively on a reimbursable basis (commercial distribution).

In accordance with Part 2 of Article 25 of the Law of the Russian Federation "On Mass Media" media products are intended for noncommercial distribution is marked "Free".  In the absence of this mark gratuitous use of the materials published on ITAR-TASS website, is not allowed.

4. Commercial distribution of ITAR-TASS materials could be carried out only on the basis of subscription.

5. The use of ITAR-TASS materials by news agencies and other media in the amount and purposes not contemplated by the contract between the Agency and the Subscriber is unacceptable.
In the case of non-compliance of these conditions a distributer of ITAR-TASS materials should pay for the actual use of information on the rates listed onwww.tass-online.ru.

6. According to the Law of the Russian Federation "On Mass Media” (Article 23) it is obligatory to quote ITAR-TASS by any media while using its information products.

7. Text materials published on www.itar-tass.com can be used without ITAR-TASS consent and without payment only in the case of personal needs of individual users.

8. Any reproduction of the materials published on www.itar-tass.com for any purpose except personal needs is possible only with crediting ITAR-TASS web-site as the source.

Reproducing  ITAR-TASS materials:

- in print or other forms of tangible media - paper, film, etc., the user must in each case quote www. itar-tass.comas the source;

- in the Internet or other electronic forms, the user must in each case place a hyperlink to the home page of ITAR-TASS - www.itar-tass.com.

9. Changing or amending of ITAR-TASS material, as well as rewriting is possible only upon the permission of the Agency.

10. Options and hyperlinks provided by paragraph 8 of this document should be placed by the user in the first paragraph of the text, in which ITAR-TASS materials are used, as well as directly under the used photographs and graphics.

The font of the links or hyperlinks should not be less than the text font, which ITAR-TASS materials are used.

11.  ITAR-TASS subscribers reproducing the materials of the Agency in their web-sites and RSS-dispatches should not indicate the time of  the material before the time of its actual release on ITAR-TASS wires.

12. Terms of use of ITAR-TASS photos are published on the website of the ITAR-TASS Photo Agency www.tassphoto.com.
